The Sunlight Centre for Open Politics has reported Lord Rennard to the House of Lords Privileges Committee over his alleged misuse of House of Lords Allowances for his ’second’ home. A shame you missed us at the beach party outside your ‘holiday’ home a few weeks ago!

Brian Binley MP has been sent a letter by the Sunlight COPs about two claims that he made for ‘liquor’ during hotel visits – something which the parliamentary Green Book does not allow. The book only allows for ‘accommodation costs’. We have requested that Mr Binley repay this money to the taxpayer.

The Sunlight Centre for Open Politics has been accused by Shahid Malik MP in his local newspaper the Dewsbury Reporter of being a ‘clandestine Conservative Group’.
